Mrs. Ada Frances Smith Beach, the widow of William Ralph Beach, passed peacefully at home at the age of 96, surrounded by her family and friends.

Mrs. Beach was born on April 8, 1921, to the late Charly H. Smith and the late Senie Harrison Smith and was raised in the Little Swamp Community.  She married William Ralph Beach in 1946 and together they raised their daughter, Judy, in Augusta, Georgia.  They were blessed to have celebrated 59 years of marriage.  In 2005, she relocated to Summerville, South Carolina to live with Judy and her son-in-law, Fred.  Mrs. Beach was a member of the Little Swamp United Methodist Church at the time of her passing.

Her survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Fred Gleffe; her granddaughter Kelly Passarello and her husband, Michael of Houston, Texas.  This year she was thrilled to become a great grandmother to Jackson Smith Passarello.
