Aaron Lee Schwan

Mr. Aaron Lee Schwan, 42, of Walterboro, entered into rest Tuesday afternoon, September 15, 2015, in Amarillo, Texas.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon, September 20, 2015, from Adnah United Methodist Church, Adnah Church Road, Islandton. The Reverend Fred Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the churchyard.

The family will receive friends prior to the funeral ceremony Sunday afternoon beginning at 2 o’clock in the church sanctuary.

Born July 7, 1973, in Ohio, he was raised by Mr. Kenneth Butler, Sr. and Mrs. Kathy Schwan. He was a driver for Prime, Inc. and will always be remembered for his dry wit and sense of humor.

Surviving in addition to his parents are: his loving companion, Leslie Nicole Dopson and her two children, Willow Jean Roberts and Emily Grace Benton; two brothers, Ken Butler (Julie) and Matt Smith; and a sister, Cindi Diller (Doug). He is also survived by Leslie’s parents, Craig and Darlene Dopson of St. Helena Island; and her sisters, Amanda Boatwright (Patrick) and Jenni Haman (Derrick) as well as their children, Kayla Ginn-Boatwright, Lily Boatwright, Connor Boatwright, Joshua Spiva, and Nathaniel Dopson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Desire Fletcher.
