Mr. Richard Allen Roscoe, affectionately known as “Ric”, age 34, of Walterboro, entered into rest Tuesday morning, September 13, 2016, in Walterboro.
Funeral services will be conducted 4 o’clock Friday afternoon, September 16, 2016, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend Eric Bjork and The Reverend Craig Crosby officiating. Interment will follow in Bedon Baptist Churchyard, 2410 Cottageville Highway, Walterboro.
Born November 20, 1981, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was a son of Mr. Vroom William Roscoe, III and Mrs. Debbie Priester Sineath. He truly enjoyed building things and was an employee of Robertson’s Construction in Walterboro. The Ric we all knew, will always be remembered and treasured for his heart of gold which possessed a great love for his family. Ric was of the Baptist faith, having been raised in the family church, Bedon Baptist Church. “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, and settle.”
Surviving in addition to his parents of Walterboro are: his three children, Haley Roscoe, Emily Roscoe, and Noah Roscoe; a brother, Jack Alex Sineath of Walterboro; and two sisters, Tara Roscoe O’Bryant (Charles “Bubba”) of Walterboro and Sara Marie Herndon (Jason) of Walterboro. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Virginia Nettles Priester of Walterboro; as well as two whom he loved as his brothers, Allen Thomas and Shane Robertson, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Alvertis Priester and his paternal grandparents, Harold and Doris Best.
