Mr. Timothy Ray Floyd, 56, of Liberty Street in Estill, entered into rest Wednesday morning, February 13, 2019 at his residence.
Born July 13, 1962 in Sumter, he was a son of the late John Alps Floyd and Yvonne Smith Floyd. He was a stocker at Tuten’s IGA and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He will always be remembered for his love of helping people and especially for being a great daddy and best brother anyone could have.
Surviving are: his wife, Sheila Rivers Floyd of Estill; sons, Cody Floyd and Neil Floyd, both of Grays; sister, Katherine B. Gray and her husband Larry of Bulls Gap, Tennessee; brother, Michael Ray Floyd of Sumter; and mother-in-law, Elsie Richardson of Estill. He was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly J. Floyd.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Saturday morning, February 16, 2019, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Varnville. Interment will follow in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, 6404 Hopewell Road, Hampton.
