Mr. Stanley Neil Carden, III, 36, of Walterboro, entered into rest Monday, November 11, 2019, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Colleton County.
Born December 13, 1982, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was a son of Stanley Neil Carden, Jr. and Pamela Herrin Carden. He was an Animal Control Officer having worked with Colleton County Animal Control. He was a Master Mason, holding his membership at Unity Masonic Lodge, No. 55 – Ancient Free Masons in Walterboro. He will always be remembered for the love he had for animals especially horses as well as motorcycles.
Surviving are: his wife of seventeen years, Mrs. Christina Preacher Carden; two children, Stanley Neil Carden, IV and Sarah Alyssa Carden both of the home; his father, Stanley and his wife Bonnie of Orange City, Florida; his mother, Pamela Jean Carden of Round O; a sister, Crystal Keeney of Round O; and his grandfather, Stanley Neil Carden, Sr. of Jesup, Georgia. He is also survived by Christina’s parents, John and Lynn Malphrus of Canadys; her brothers, Joseph Preacher, Michael Preacher, Daniel Malphrus, Chris Malphrus, and Stephen Malphrus; and her sister, Danelle Southerland.
Funeral services will be conducted 6 o’clock Saturday evening, November 16, 2019, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony.
