Patti Thomason DeLoach

Mrs. Patti Thomason DeLoach, age 62, entered into eternal rest Sunday morning, January 5, 2020 at her home in St. George. 

Born January 18, 1957 in Allendale, South Carolina, she was the daughter of James P. Thomason and the late Bonnie Jean Thomason.  She lived most of her life in Columbia, South Carolina and was a longtime employee of News America Marketing.  She was a member of Refuge Church in Walterboro and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved plants and flowers and her dog, “Sweet Pea”.  She will always be remembered for the love she possessed for her family and friends.

Survivors include; her husband of forty-three years, Mr. Eugene O. DeLoach, Jr. and her son, James P. DeLoach both of St. George. She is also survived by her father of Columbia and her brother, James R. Thomason of Columbia; a daughter-in-law, Casey Stone DeLoach of Walterboro; and four grandsons Alan, Tristan, James Jr. and Perry.  She was predeceased by her younger son, Alan D. DeLoach, Sr. in 2015.

Funeral services will be conducted 6 o’clock Thursday evening, January 9, 2020, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.   The Reverend Craig Crosby officiating.   The family will receive friends following the service until 8 o’clock that evening.
