Mrs. Mona Lisa Fennell, 54, of Round O, entered into rest Saturday afternoon, July 28, 2018, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.
Born September 6, 1963, in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late Howard Woods and the late Brenda Hiott Lewis. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church at Canadys and will always be remembered for her love of hunting and fishing. She dearly loved her children and family as well as her dog, “Yeti”. She carried a smile that brightened up any room, her heart was filled with love, and warmth and her door was always open. She loved her family, friends, and the Pittsburg Steelers. She was a loving mother to everyone, she touched the lives of everyone she knew. She will be truly missed.
Surviving are: her husband of thirty-four years, Mr. Edgar Samuel Fennell, III; three children, Howard Lee Woods (Kimberly), Holly Reichle (Johnathan), and Nichole Walker all of Walterboro; two sisters, Melanie Breland (Walt, Jr.) of Sniders and Paula Carter (Mark) of Ridgeland; a step-brother, Randall Lewis (Stephanie) of Charleston; and her step-father, Raymond Lewis of Canadys. There are fourteen grandchildren, Destiny Ready, Bernard Ready, Lamia Ready, Travian Ready, Jaylaylah Edwards, McKayla Woods, Howard Lee Woods, Jr., Mason Woods, Harlee Woods, Ladianne Plumer, Isaiah Torres, Azalea Torres, Yanaejah Edwards, and Jataevian Edwards as well as her mother-in-law, Mrs. Ione Fennell and several nieces and nephews that also survive. She was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Lamb; a sister, Tonja Walker; and a brother-in-law, Larry Kittrell.
Funeral services will be conducted 6 o’clock Thursday evening, August 2, 2018, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend Ricky Crosby officiating. The family will receive friends following the funeral service until 8 o’clock that evening.
