Michael Lloyd Catterton, Sr.

Mr. Michael Lloyd, Catterton, Sr., age 55, entered into rest Monday morning, August 13, 2018.

Born December 19, 1962, in Colleton County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Lloyd Edward Catterton and the late Lavinia Hiers Catterton.  He served in the United States Air Force and for many years operated his own trucking company having provided services for Coastal Lumber Company in Walterboro.   He was an avid outdoorsman having enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time at the family cabin on the Salkehatchie River.   He adored his family and grandchildren.   He was a licensed pilot and was also a talented drummer.

Surviving are:  a daughter, Tina “Boo Boo” Catterton-Padgett of Walterboro; a son, Mikey Catterton, Jr. and his wife Rachel of Walterboro; three brothers, Ross Catterton and his wife Denise of Walterboro, Chester Catterton of Citra, Florida, and Jimmy Catterton of Tryon, North Carolina; and five grandchildren, Noah, Payton, Michael, III, Autumn, and Makenzie.  He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Funeral services will be conducted 10 o’clock Saturday morning, August 18, 2018, from Black Creek Baptist Church, 4931 Black Creek Road, Walterboro.
