Good buy to a great friend and roomate. Mike and I hit it off and were buddies from the day we met. We both loved motorcycles, cars, sports and especially fishing. I remember many miles of hiking with Mike through the mosquito filled woods of Lake Nacogdoches near SFA looking for "The Good Spot". Mike was an all around great person. Strong as an Ox with the heart of a Teddy Bear. He was a fierce competitor and would do anything fair to beat you, but he would also drop everything on a dime to help anyone who needed him. Mike and I spent a lot of time ridding dirt bikes together and I think of those days often. I would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Hudson for making me feel like I was part of their family from the first time we met. I truely enjoyed going "Home" to Mike's. I will miss you my friend, but we will ride and fish again. See you in Heaven ATTICUS !!!
Love your friend, Robert Chaffin

Wonderful words Robert. You were THE college roommate for Mike and a true brother to him. Some of the best memories of Mike were during those years. He was truly happy and enjoying life. I know that Mike would agree.

My condolences to the Hudson family. May God comfort the family during this time of bereavement. May the many cherished memories of Michael comfort his family and friends. A comforting thought to keep in mind is at Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." I pray you all have peace of mind during this time.

Mike never lost his enthusiasm for riding Motorcycles. From the day I met him riding the dirt trails behind Westador along Cypress Creek to the current day exploring the highways of our beautiful Country. His willingness to help others and his love for "man's best friend" will be what I remember most. God loves us all and has already forgiven us. Mike is in His embrace and leaves us with countless fond memories. Ride on Mike! I love you my life-long friend.
