Mr. Mark Damian Chollet, 71, of Moncks Corner, entered into rest eternal Saturday morning, August 31, 2019, at the Veteran’s Victory House in Walterboro.
Born November 17, 1947, in Saint Louis, Missouri, he was a son of the late Robert Xavier Chollet and the late Madelyn Crowe Chollet. He served our country faithfully in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. He was an electrical Engineer and was the owner of Dynamarc Precision Power in Moncks Corner. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was a Fourth Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 11991. He was also a member of Sub Vets. He possessed a love of animals, woodcrafting, as well as gardening. One of his greatest passions was rasing Tropical Fish.
Surivivng are: four children, Chantalle Chollet, Brian Chollet, Dinah Chollet, and Noel Chollet Martin; a brother, Guy Chollet; and two sisters, Paula Gunning and Deborah Chollet. There are five grandchildren, Destynie Chollet, Chandler Irland, Sierra Irland, Kristen Brunson, and Sean Chollet. He was preceded in death by a son, Sean Chollet; and a brother, Eric Chollet.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 10 o’clock Tuesday morning, September 10, 2019, from Saint Anthony Roman Catholic Church, 925 South Jefferies Boulevard, Walterboro. The Rite of Committal with Military Honors will follow at 12 noon in Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort.
The family will receive friends during a time of visitation Monday evening, from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock with the Holy Rosary being recited at 6 o’clock at THE BRICE W.
