Mrs. Marian Hatfield Hafer, 94, of Round O, entered into rest Tuesday afternoon, November 26, 2019, at Hallmark in Summerville. She was the wife of the late Mr. Ronald Hafer.
Born October 25, 1925, in Boston, Kentucky, she was one of sixteen children of the late William Dewey Hatfield and Lily Hall Hatfield. She made Round O her home in the late 1980’s and was a devoted homemaker. Marian lived life to the fullest, loving to sing karaoke and being known to “cut-a-rug”. She loved her family.
Surviving are: a daughter, Wanda M. Miles of Bardstown, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Sherry LaVerne Nichols (Tommy), Donna Denise Pacetti, Rita Lynn Cline (Tommy), Cindy Michelle Hale (Gary), Billy Neal McCubbins, Jr. (Dee Dee), James Edward Miles, William Paul Hardin, Tina Marie Kelley Jim), and John Edward Miles (Renee); twenty-six great grandchildren; twenty-two great great grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Billy Neal McCubbins, Sr. She was preceded in death by two children, Dorothy L. McCubbins and Eddie Paul Hardin; and a great grandson, Joseph Randall Pacetti.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon, December 1, 2019, from the graveside at Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
