Lori Kreighbaum

Ms. Lori Ann Kreighbaum, 56, of Walterboro, entered into rest Monday afternoon, January 22, 2018.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Friday morning, January 26, 2018, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.  Pastor John Harbin officiating.  Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.

Born May 7, 1961, in Greencastle, Indiana, she made Walterboro her home in 1983 and was a daughter of Mrs. Sue Haton Hickam and the late Phillip N. Johnson.  Lori was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse, who dearly loved nursing and after her retirement, continued as a private caregiver in many homes throughout the area.    She cared for her family and always centered her life around those she loved.  Her greatest love, joy, and passion in life was her grandson, Luca.   She was a member of the Walterboro Church of God; was a talented artist and enjoyed fishing.  

Surviving are: her mother, Sue of Walterboro; three children, Lydia Kreighbaum (Cody) of Terre Haute, Indiana, Dennis Lee Kreighbaum of Terre Haute, Indiana, and Amy Vogt (Robert) of Walterboro; two brothers, Larry Johnson (Donna) of Walterboro and Lennie Johnson (Christina) of Walterboro; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Dale Schmitt, Jr.; two brothers; and two sisters.
