Mrs. Linda Ginn Bowers, 73, of Walterboro, entered into rest Friday evening, December 27, 2019, at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She was the wife of forty-one years to the late Mr. Jack Arnold Bowers.
Born November 3, 1946, in Colleton County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Ginn and the late Gertrude Sanders Ginn. She retired as a manager from the Video House in Walterboro. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church No. 1 in Walterboro where in previous years, she sang in the choir and worked in the nursery.
Surviving are: two daughters, April Bowers Cantor and Angie Lee Bowers both of Walterboro; a brother, Frank Ginn of Sheldon; a sister-in-law, Barbara Hickman of Walterboro; four grandchildren, Autumn Cantor, Tony Craven, Ariel Bowers, and Toby Bowers; a great grandchild, Eden Dangleben; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Shaun Michael Bowers; a grandchild, Starlond Bowers; a son-in-law, Mark Cantor; two brothers, Robert Ginn and Doug Ginn; and four sisters, Louise Wright, Irene Reynolds, Mary Hill, and Maude Nettles.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, January 3, 2020, from the graveside at Pine Grove Baptist Churchyard, 99 Pine Grove Road, Walterboro.
