Judy Finley

Mrs. Judy Peters Finley, 59, of St. George, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital.

Born April 14, 1959 in Barnwell, she was a daughter of the late Furman Delano Peters, Sr. and Nancy Morningstar Peters. Judy loved going to the beach and collecting sharks’ teeth, loved gardening and working with her flowers, and enjoyed fishing with her brother, Keith.  She especially loved riding her motorcycle and loved animals.  More than anything, Judy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  She deeply loved her family and friends and always did anything she could to help anyone in need.

Surviving are: her husband, Roy Alan Finley, Sr. of St. George; daughter, Nancy “Maggie” Neblett and her husband Brian of St. George; grandchildren, Christian Glenn Bishop, Cheyenne Nicole Bishop, Nicholas Jax Neblett, Jordan Lucas Neblett, and Alex Ethan Neblett; brothers, Furman D. “Butch” Peters, Jr. of Aiken and Thomas Keith Peters of Ehrhardt; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Glenn Bishop; and a brother, Clarence Eugene “Gene” Peters.

Funeral services will be held 11 o’clock, Saturday morning, March 9, 2019 at Ehrhardt Baptist Church, Ehrhardt.  Interment will follow in the Ehrhardt Cemetery.
