Mr. Jimmie Ray Teal, Sr., affectionately known by all as “Jim”, age 62, of Marshall, North Carolina, entered into rest Wednesday morning, November 8, 2017, at the Solace Center in Ashville, North Carolina.
Funeral services with military honors will he conducted 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, November 14, 2017, from Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort.
Born August 22, 1955 in Del Rio, Texas, he was a son of the late Ezra and Nora Acholes Teal. He served our country faithfully in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Jim for many years was a cable technician and was also a painting and remodeling contractor. He was a member of Cowboy Church, loved fishing and traveling, and dearly loved his grandchildren.
Surviving are: his wife, Anna Brown Teal; two sons, Michael Brown of Marshall, North Carolina and Jimmie Teal, Jr. of Charleston; three daughters, Krystal Bonds Teal of Oklahoma, Kimberly Teal of Oklahoma, Michelle Bailey of Asheville; a sister, Linda Teachy of Round O; four grandchildren, Bobby J. Bailey, Shawn Allen Lyons, David Ray Brown, and Melody Therrien; and one great grandchild, Isabella Lyons.
