Mrs. Irene Bell Craven Smith, 58, of Round O, entered into rest Wednesday morning, May 29, 2019, at the Trident Medical Center in North Charleston.
Born April 9, 1961, in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late Talbert Gruber Craven, Sr. and the late Edith Hamilton Craven Carroll. She is remembered by all of her loving family and friends. She will be sadly missed. So as for her struggle and fight that been known by all, she is a champion fighter and cancer is no longer her fight.
Surviving are: her husband, Terry Todd Smith; a son, Kenneth Stanfield of Round O; a daughter, Jessica Stanfield (Lisa) of Walterboro; two step-daughters, Monica Smith and Tabatha Craven; two brothers, Talbert Craven and Carl Craven both of Walterboro; three sisters, Loraine Crapse of Yemassee, Samantha Craven of Walterboro, and Evelyn Carroll of Barnwell; and seven grandchildren, Ariel Smith, Dylan Craven, Austin Craven, Brittany Miller, Ty Williams, Trinity Williams, and Jr Salley. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Craven.
Funeral services will be conducted 4 o’clock Saturday afternoon, June 1, 2019, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Fr. Drew Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Craven’s Rose Garden Cemetery, Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
