Gerran Weeks

Mr. William “Gerran” Weeks, IV, 36, of Bamberg, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at his residence. 

A memorial service will be held 5 o’clock, Thursday, August 31, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Bamberg. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Billy and Runelle Weeks, 149 Elizabeth Street, Bamberg.

Born November 12, 1980 in Bamberg, he was a son of William G. Weeks, III and Runelle Bishop Weeks.  He was a machinist at Rocklon in Bamberg and was a member of The First Baptist Church of Bamberg.  He loved hunting and fishing and was an avid Gamecocks fan.  Most of all, he loved and cherished his children and his family.

Surviving are: his children, William James Weeks and Lexie Denae Weeks of Bamberg; parents, Billy and Runelle Weeks of Bamberg; sister, Sarah Weeks Carter and her husband Steven of Columbia; nieces, Mary Monroe and Harlan Louise Carter of Columbia; grandmother, Dorothy Weeks Evans of Bamberg; aunt, LaVerne Bishop DeRienzo and her husband Raymond of Bamberg, and their children, Anna and Reedy; uncle, Conrad Bishop and his wife Donna of Cordova, and their children, Riana, Cody, and Caitlin; uncle, Ed Evans of Salem; and great aunts and uncle, Delores Smith of Barnwell, Marjorie Weeks of Lonestar, and Betty and Bob Bowers of Cayce. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bunny and Sara Bishop, and Carlisle Evans.
