Mr. Cleveland Gary Taylor, 61, of Ehrhardt, entered into rest Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Born November 25, 1957 in Millen, Georgia, he was a son of the late Cleveland Taylor and Ila Holton Taylor. He was the Superintendent of Maintenance at Swiss-Krono in Barnwell. Gary was a man of God and was a member of Colston Branch Baptist Church. He was a good husband, father and PaPa who loved his children and grandchildren and spending time with them. He loved people, and will be remembered as a good man, teacher, and boss. Gary enjoyed projects that included making things with his hands, he loved the outdoors and loved his man cave.
Surviving are: his wife, Debra Boyer Taylor of Ehrhardt; children, Tisha T. Thompson and her husband Daniel, Zack Taylor and his wife Jennifer, and Josh Taylor, all of Sylvania, Georgia; grandchildren, Allen, Taylor and “Scooby”, Haley, Brinton, Eden, Nora, Wyatt, and Whitley; grandchild, Judah; father-in-law, Olin Bishop of Ehrhardt; sisters, Dale Taylor of Brooklet, Georgia and Jean Taylor Bulloch of Cooperville, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 4 o’clock, Thursday afternoon, October 10, 2019 at Colston Branch Baptist Church, 655 Sunday School Road, Bamberg. The family will receive friends during a time of fellowship following the service.
