We sorrowfully regret to inform you that Ervin Lee Creel, also known as “Boy-Boy”, peacefully passed on May 20, 2018 at his residence at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Mr. Creel was born April 1, 1950 in Cottageville, a son of the late Ervin Creel and Bertie Scott Creel. He was well known to the community and loved by many. He had a big heart and never said no to anyone. Even though he did not have any children or grandchildren of his own, all of his nieces and nephews call him “PaPa”.
Survivors include: his sisters, Larmae Creel (Willie Ray Creel) and Lizzie Mae Creel (Lucious Creel), both of Ridgeville; and a brother, Herman Creel of Summerville; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and close family. In addition to his parents, Mr. Creel was predeceased by his two brothers, Leon Creel and Willis Jr. Creel; and a sister, Flora Mae Creel.
A graveside service will be held at 2 o’clock, Wednesday afternoon, May 23, 2018 at Givhans Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
