Master Elijah Elliott May entered into rest with our Lord and Savior Friday evening, May 31, 2019.
Elijah was the 7 month old son of Zachary Pearce May and Siarra Stewart May. He was born October 11, 2018, at Trident Hospital in North Charleston and will always be remembered as the sweet, smiling and joyful blessing God placed into the lives of a family that will forever love him.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Walterboro are: a brother, Malachi Charles May; a sister, Suzannah Grace May; Paternal Grandfather, Roy Charles May of Beaufort; Maternal Grandparents, Colleen Smith Johnston and her husband Michael of Summerville and Gerald Olen Stewart, III of Rockland, Maine; a Maternal Great Grandmother, Pamela Stewart; three uncles, Greg Fletcher, Chandler Stewart, and Caleb Johnston; and two aunts, Chante’ Smith and Misty Shipley. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandmother, Suzanne Pearce May and Paternal Great Grandmother, Annie Ruth May.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 o’clock Thursday afternoon, June 6, 2019, from Calvary Chapel Summerville, 975 Bacon’s Bridge Road, Summerville. Pastor Vic Carroll officiating. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation prior to the funeral ceremony beginning at 12 noon that day in the church sanctuary. Interment will follow at 4 o’clock that afternoon in Evergreen Cemetery, Bladen Street, Beaufort.
