Edward John Mordenti Obituary

Mr. Edward John Mordenti, 88, entered into rest Friday, March 30, 2018, at his home in Ruffin, surrounded by his loving family.   He was the husband of the late Mrs. Veronica Adanczyk Mordenti.  

 

Born July 13, 1929, in Lodi, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Dominic Mordenti and the late Anna Velardo Mordenti.  He served in the National Guard and well as having served our Country faithfully in the United States Air Force and Army.   He was a retired officer from Patterson Correctional Facility in New Jersey.  He was an outdoorsman who dearly loved hunting, fishing, and camping.  He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in New Jersey. 

 

Surviving are: a daughter, Sharon M. Stolarski and her husband Ray, Sr. of Ruffin; a son, Michael E. Mordenti of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Danny Mordenti of Florida and Joseph Mordenti of Las Vegas; five grandchildren, Melissa Mordenti, Raymond Stolarski, Jr., Jennifer Longhenry, Candace Mordenti, and Michelle Mordenti; and seven great grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth E. Mordenti in 2003; and his sister, Dorothy Kohnenkamp.
