Once in the middle of my shift--Karen & I were talking in her room & she shared with me her love of old Doo-Wop songs from the 50's.
She loved the groups from Motown,Chubby Checker,Jerry Butler,etc.
She told me when she was young Chubby Checker saw her at a concert & asked her to come onstage & dance.She was thrilled to do that & we always had nice chats in wee hours of mornings as I cared for her.
Her face lit up as she talked about the Four Tops & other groups she enjoyed
I will never forget this truly nice lady.May she rest in peace.

I met Karen when I was an RN at Colleton Medical Center--before I retired in 2016/
She was one of the nicest people I had ever met and I enjoyed our long talks in the wee hours of the morning as I worked the night shift,
I had just spoken with her on the phone and she had a new cell phone and told me she was cooking something good the next day. I thought the world of this dear lady and may she rest in peace always.She will be one of God's best angels.
