Byrnes will truly be missed by all. He was always there to lend a friendly ear or give a big hug. He was always there for his family and church and gave his all in everything he did. Heartfelt prayers go out to his family during this difficult time. So glad he's no longer suffering. My last memory is seeing him on Easter, giving him a big hug, and promising to visit; a big smile stretched across his face and he wanted to know when I'd stop by. I'll still stop by to visit, but it won't be the same until we meet again at the next point in time, my friend.

Prayers and hugs to your family. I can't remember ever not having your family in my memories. Daddy gave the name Bernice to Byrnes years ago and they were a pair! I'm sure Daddy is smiling arm in arm with his buddy now. Love you all.

I will truly miss seeing Mr. Byrnes come into the office with his bright smile and jokes. Even on his worse days, he always found the silver lining to the cloud. Always happy, smiling and joking. I find comfort in knowing that he knew the Lord. I pray that the Lord continue to wrap His loving arms of comfort around this family.

Loved him so much. The last memory I have of him was when we were there for the retirement service. He was sitting, so I leaned over to hug him. I mentioned that he always gave the best hugs. He struggled to stand up and then just embraced me with the best bear hug he could and told me that he loved me. I'll miss him terribly.
