Mr. Joseph Arthur Grace Sr., known to everyone as “Joe”, 81, of Williams, entered into rest Thursday evening, June 17, 2021, at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Sara Eleanor Biggers Grace.
Born May 2, 1940, in Norfolk, Virginia, he was a son of the late Joseph A. Grace and Inez Carter Stelling. He was a History and Social Studies teacher for 47 years and retired from the Colleton County School District. He served his country in the Army National Guard. He was a member of Marion Baptist Church in Williams and was also agent with Walterboro Realty.
Surviving are: his daughter, Cyndi Grace Holland and her husband James of Cottageville; brother, Wayne Grace of Moncks Corner; grandchildren, Kodey Holland (Cannie Morris), Kevin Holland, and Megan Millers; and great-grandchildren, Korbyn Holland Evelyn Miller and Emma Miller. He was preceded in death by a son, Joe Arthur Grace, Jr.; and a grandson, Auston Holland.
Graveside funeral services will be held 11 o’clock, Tuesday morning, June 22, 2021 at Williams Cemetery in Williams.
