Biography

Mr. Dean Troy Stevens, Sr., 50, of Fairfax, died Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Effingham Hospital in Springfield, Georgia. Dean was born November 7, 1960 and was a son of the late William Raymond Stevens and Barbara Jean Brunson Stevens.

A memorial service will be held 4 pm, Friday, May 20, 2011 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service until 6 pm.

Surviving are: his son, Dean Troy Stevens, Jr. and his wife Brea of Boiling Springs; brothers, Stevie Stevens of Fairfax and Jerry Stevens of Columbia; sisters, Janet O’Hara of Beaufort, Joyce Jelley of French Town, New Jersey and Judy Kennedy of Beaufort; and 3 grandchildren, Gracie Stevens, Lexi Stevens and Samantha Stevens.
