Mrs. Deborah Cox Britt, 65, of Round O, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Colleton Medical Center.
Born February 9, 1959, in Bamberg, she was a daughter of the late Wade Hampton Cox, II and Sarah Louise Stokes Cox. She was a member of Providence United Methodist Church and dearly loved gospel singing. She was an excellent southern cook and was an iconic figure at the Colleton Farmers Market where she sold her baked goods and handmade jewelry. She truly loved her family and her friends and always gave of herself wherever she could.
Surviving are: her husband of 42 years, Gregory Glen Britt of Round O; son, Julian Glenn Britt of Round O; brother, Dan Cox and his wife Susan of Walterboro; sisters, Sarah Stanfield and her husband Wayne of Summerville and Hazel Risher of Walterboro; sisters-in-law, Charlene Cox of Walterboro, Sandra Lunceford and her husband Jerry of Bluffton and Linda Hurst of Columbia; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gina Louise Britt; brothers, Wade Cox and Jack Cox; nephew, Johnathan Cox; and niece, Suzanna Cox.
Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock, Saturday afternoon, March 16, 2024, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lindsay Road, Round O.
