Vincent “Vinnie” Philip Miller, 13, of Ruffin, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 6 o’clock, Monday, May 22, 2017 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel.
Born November 27, 2003 in Honea Path, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Philip Wayne Miller, Jr. and Lori Ann Butkiewicz Miller. He was a 7th grade student at Colleton County Middle School and was just inducted into the National Junior Beta Club. Vinnie was the best son and little brother anyone could ask for. He was a fast runner and loved racing people, enjoyed participating in the martial arts at Toe 2 Toe in Walterboro, and like playing basketball. He was a momma’s boy who carried on his mom’s sense of humor, and had a smile and blue eyes that would melt your heart. He shared of love of technology with his dad and loved playing video games and playing on his laptop. Vinnie was an extremely smart and inquisitive little boy who dreamed of being a neuro-surgeon when he grew up. He had a truly caring heart and just as his parents, he always wanted to help anyone in need. Vinnie will be truly missed by everyone and will live on in the hearts of those he touched forever.
Surviving are: his sisters, Karissa Leigh Miller of South Carolina, Jessika Trivette of Tennessee, and Ryanne Counts of Texas; cousins, Kailei Willard, Kamryn Wiggins, Claire Trivette, Ezrah Counts, and one due on Monday, May 22, Raymond Vincent Counts; aunt, Rachel Miller of Florida; uncle, Brian Butkiewicz of Ohio; and grandparents, Daniel and Joanne Butkiewicz of Ohio, and Michelle Melanson of Florida. He passed away alongside his parents, Philip and Lori Miller.
