Mrs. Sarah Clesson Siner, age 54, of Carn Street in Walterboro, entered into life eternal Thursday evening, February 15, 2018, in the loving care of her family at Saint Frances Hospital in Charleston following a undiagnosed long-term seizure disorder. She was the wife of the late Mr. Peter Siner.
A celebration of her life will be conducted 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon, February 18, 2018 from Saint Jude’s Church, 907 Wichman Street, Walterboro. Father Drew Collins officiating. The family will receive friends following the funeral litany in Skardon Hall. The family has requested that members of Daughters of The King to serve as honorary escorts and their presence is requested in the Narthex of Saint Jude’s Church at 2:30 that afternoon.
Born August 30, 1963 in Savannah, Georgia, she was raised in the Summerville area prior to making Walterboro her home for the past sixteen years. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Winthrop University. She was a daughter of the late Lieutenant Colonel Edwin E. Clesson and the late Mrs. Marilyn Sue Morgan Clesson. She was sales representative with State Chemical Company, having worked for them for many years. She was an active member of Saint Jude’s Church in Walterboro where she was also a member of Daughters of The King. Sarah always possessed a bright and loving smile, always willing to help others. She loved animals and also enjoyed revolutionary reenactments.
Surviving are: her brother, Craig Edwin Clesson and his wife Ismari of Lilburn, Georgia; three nieces, Leah Clesson Smith and her husband Patrick, Rachel Clesson Hitchcock and her husband Joseph, and Anna Clesson Murdock and her husband Winston; a great nephews, Stephen Winston Murdock; and a great niece, Elisabeth Murdock; as well as a host of loving dear life-long friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be directed in her memory to: Saint Jude’s Church Endowment Fund, 907 Wichman Street, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.
