Sally will never have to face the last enemy death, ever again. In the meantime, her acts of faith live on until she stands up alive and whole in the Paradise.
Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

We only knew Sally for seven or eight years beginning in 1992 when we were all active in the Creative Retirement Center, as it was known then, at USC Beaufort. She was a wonderful person and a pleasure to be with. We have always missed her from those days.

My thoughts are with you all tonight. Your mom was a true woman before her time. Strong and grounded. She was a model for all of us follow. I am sorry I can not be there to honor her memory.

I am sorry for your loss in Mrs. Seeeney having passed. She was the Librarian when I was in middle school all those years ago and was a great highlight in those elementary years. She always had a smile and a welcoming spirit.

This made me cry when I read it. Mamie!! Such great memories of such a great lady. I remember years ago stopping to see her one afternoon, maybe 30 years ago, and we hugged and then she told me, "my you've gotten fat!!" I loved her so much. She and Mr. Petie were so good to us. So many great memories of her!! She loved us like her own and we loved her so much too!!! Every time I drive through Early Branch area I think of her and look for remnants of their home! Thank you so much for your kind words and thought. I just happened to think to look at this page after 2 weeks. Meant to be!! Thank you again!!

Fond memories flood my heart....memories of Sally, your Dad, and all of you.
I recall time spent serving as secretary to both Dan Sweeney and Joe Rapp...together. Many happy days......time spent with Sally, socially.
Precious memories that stand the test of time.
Can one's heart be sad....and happy...at the same time? Yes...as all of you know.
I rejoice in the knowledge Sally has been relieved from the pains of advancing years...
Yet, in my humanness I am sad! I shall pray for peace and acceptance for all of you.. May God richly bless each one of you!

Thank you, Mrs. Hunter, for your kind words. Yes, we are sad and happy at the same time....sad for us but so happy mom is where she wants to be. She went on her terms and we expected nothing different from her. We know she and dad are happy to be reunited after 42 years. Thank you for being good to both of them!!

Thank you Baldwin Family. Mom sure enjoyed her visits, lunches and talks with your mom. Think their friendship with each other, Janet and Aunt Mary Margaret was pretty special. Please give my best to your mom and thank you so much for beautiful flowers you sent. Ann

The passing of Sally Sweeney has brought many memories of her and her family to me. There was a lot of good times spent together and many laughs. Sally was a very strong woman and had a lot of hardships to carry. She was an inspiration to us all. She was very helpful when my dad and then my mother passed away. I share wish I could hug her one more time. My prayers go out to the family and the stories and memories of Sally will help you get through this difficult time. God Bless You!
