Mr. Michael Irvin Risher, known by many as “Mike”, age 48, entered into rest Wednesday morning, February 28, 2018, at his home in Walterboro.
Born May 25, 1969, in Walterboro, he was a son of the late Julius Glenwood Risher and the late Sara Frances Bazzle Gruber. Mike was the owner of Risher’s Body Shop in Walterboro. He loved spending time on his boat and Jet Ski on the water, especially at Santee. He also loved camping and being with friends.
Surviving are: his wife, Charlene L. Risher; five children, Danielle Hutchins of San Antonio, Texas, Nicolette Norris of Walterboro, Casey Hiott of Walterboro, Michael Risher, Jr. of Walterboro, and Aidan Risher of Walterboro; a brother, Dean RIsher of Walterboro; and a sister, Kaye Bailey of Walterboro. There are seven grandchildren as well as his father and mother-in-law, Barry and Kathy Thompson of Bowman that also survive. He was preceded in death by a sister, Diana Risher Sarcinella.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Saturday morning, March 3, 2018, from Zion Baptist Church, 152 Ruffin Road, Walterboro. The Reverend Ricky Crosby officiating. Interment will follow in the churchyard.
