Kurt Mauldin

Mr. Kurt Clinton Mauldin, 29, of Cottageville, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015.

The funeral service will be held 6 pm, Sunday, July 26, 2015 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 5 pm until the hour of service.

Kurt was born March 10, 1986 in Charleston and was a son of Christopher Farrell Mauldin and Jennifer Joyner McCranie.  He was an employee of CCC Group-Flour Corporation.  He attended SeaCoast Church in Summerville, and enjoyed boating and spending time at the beach and the river.  He loved animals, especially his dogs, Mac and Stormy, and loved music and singing.  Most of all, he loved God and studied his Bible, he loved spending time with his family and friends and cooking for them, and especially loved his niece and nephews.

Surviving are: his mother and step-father, Hubert and Jenny McCranie; father, Chris Mauldin; his wife, Candace Musser Mauldin; sister, Nicole Segura and her husband Michael; brothers, William Mauldin and his wife Kim and Jacob McCranie and his fiancé Savannah Steen; grandmother, Rebecca Joyner; niece, Faith McCranie; and nephews, Bradley Segura, Carter Segura, Kyler Segura, Bentley Segura, Benjamin McCranie, and Jarrid Grooms.
