I'm just so sorry there was never more I could've done for you. I'm so sorry for your girls. I'm so sorry I couldn't come by and see you one more time. Thanks for shaping who I am today and I thank you for every memory I have with you. I will never forget you. I am glad you're no longer suffering. Drink one for me Snuffy. I love you brother

Always polite & funny with a country boy grin, I'll always remember the days he spent at the Radiology Dept waiting for Mrs Martha Ann ... or coming by because he had injured something again!! He was such a joy to be around. Heartfelt sympathy & love to the entire Hackney family. Sending you prayers of comfort & peace.

Hackney Family: I am lost for words and devastated over learning of Snuffy's passing. Snuffy recently called me and left a message on my cell. I knew without answering he wanted to go fishing here at Edisto. He fished with a local buddy team here in Edisto on my boat "Hot Rod". When he was not on the boat it wasn't the same. He would be also fishing his own boat the "Mock Chicken". That is a story just in itself. So if we were in different boats etc.we would always communicate our positions and catch. Now as he has left us I am missing him more than I ever thought possible. Snuffy the pain is over now and I pray you are on the team "Fishers of Men". God I pray you will please hold his family & daughters closer now than ever. Family our prayers and thought are on you in this moment and in the future.

When you remember me,
Please do not weep.
My body may not be there.
It has chosen to sleep.
I'm not that far away.
My soul lives on,
Looking down, watching over
You and everyone.
And when you feel sad
And life seems so blue,
Just remember
That my spirit has its arms around you.
And on those special days,
Times that you wish I could see,
That cool breeze flowing past you...
Well, that will be me,
So don't be sad.
Have no fear.
God has taken me under his wing,
But I'll always be near.
I still watch you
Every minute, every day.
My love and soul are with you,
And that's where they will stay.

I want to offer my sincere condolences to the family. I am so very sorry for your loss. Our Heavenly father in His word the Bible, calls death an enemy (1Cor. 15:26). He promises in the very near future to do away with death. (Rev. 21:4, 5) At that time tragedies and accidents will be a thing of the past, and no one will ever get sick (Isaiah 33:24), and there will be a reuniting, a bringing back to life instead of losing life (John 5:28,29). I hope these words can give you some comfort and hope. (2 Cor. 1:3, 4) Once again I am so sorry for your loss.
