Janet Lynn Lee

Mrs. Janet Lynn Lee, 60, of Fisher Road, Varnville, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015. 

Funeral services will be held 11 am, Friday, July 24, 2015 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel.  Interment will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery.

Lynn was born October 22, 1954 in Hampton and was a daughter of the late James Kirkland Blocker and Mary Etta Mixson Blocker.  She was a member of Deep Branch Baptist Church.  She loved working in her yard and with her flowers.  She loved spending time with her family and close friend, Kim.  Most of all, Lynn centered her life around her granddaughter, Ryleigh “Little Frog”, who was her world and the light of her life.

Surviving are: her children, James Mixson and his wife Lori of Beaufort and Derek Coty Nissley of Hampton; granddaughter, Ryleigh Mixson of Beaufort; sister, Ann Anderson of Early Branch; brothers, Harry Blocker of Cummings, Randy Blocker of Cummings and Robin Blocker of Grays; a close friend, Kim Shaffer of Cummings.  She is also survived by her husband, Christopher H. Lee of Varnville.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Blocker.

The family will gather at the home of her son, Coty, 829 Third Street Northeast, Hampton.
