Mrs. Beulah Iris Lee, 73, of Luray, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held 2 o’clock, Thursday afternoon, March 1, 2018 at Spirit of Life Ministries in Varnville. The family will receive friends following the service.
Born February 23, 1945 in Hampton, she was a daughter of the late William Elliott Johnson and Eula Irene Tuten Johnson. She was a member of Spirit of Life Ministries and had been a member of Luray Christian Church for many years. She worked as an inspector for Westinghouse/Nevamar for over 30 years. She loved planting and growing her flowers and then enjoyed giving them to everyone. She was a talented and creative artist who loved painting and drawing and loved to sing. She will always be remembered for the love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren and her animals.
Surviving are: her husband, Cole Blease Lee, Jr. of Luray; son, Ashley Cooper Harvey of Luray; daughter, Shelley Lee Bland of Pelion; step-children, William Scott Lee of Lena and Pam Lee Fennell of Hampton; sister, Faye Johnson DeWitt of Brunson; grandchildren, Brittany Bland, and Carla Priester; step grandchildren, Randy Lee, Michael Lee, Bridgette Gardener, Barry Edwards, and Neilie Edwards; 2 great grandchildren; and 5 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Mary Sue Johnson, Elliott Johnson, Vera Tuten, and Frank Johnson.
