Gina Graham Obituary

Gina Renee Winn Graham, 52, of Hampton, South Carolina, fell asleep in death on Friday, April 20, 2018.  She was born on October 2, 1965 in Hampton, South Carolina to her parents Charlie Elliott Winn & Connie Ann Stanley Winn.

She is survived by her father, Charlie Elliott Winn of Hampton, SC, her children, Renee Ann Winn Crenshaw and her husband Barry of Hampton, SC, Johnathan Kendall Graham and his wife Destiney of Port Royal, SC & Treynor Lee Graham of Hampton, SC, her grandchildren Luke Elliott Crenshaw and Alexis Mackenzie Crenshaw of Hampton, SC and Abigail Kendall Graham of Port Royal, SC, her sister Connie Angela “Angie” Winn Hickerson and her husband Anthony of Brunson, SC, her nieces, Rachel Katherine Hickerson Millard and her husband Joshua of Aiken, SC, Rebekah Loren Hickerson of Lexington, SC, and two very special friends, Misty B. Poston of Estill, SC , Angie T. Jones of Hampton, SC, as well as uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Gina was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on January 21, 1995.  One of her many pleasures was serving her God Jehovah.  She enjoyed sharing her hope for a better life with everyone she met in the field ministry.  Some of the other things she enjoyed doing were thrift store shopping, going to the beach to look for sharks teeth, spending time with friends, and vacationing with her family.  One of her favorite places to visit was the mountains in the fall, when the leaves were changing color.  Gina loved to laugh and loved making others laugh.  She enjoyed singing silly songs and dancing crazy dances.  She laughed at and quoted from Jerry Lewis movies, Lavern and Shirley shows, and other comedies often.  Many of her quotes and made up phrases will be used daily by those who loved her most.  She truly enjoyed her job at Hampton Regional Medical Center and made many long-lasting friendships there. Gina had a huge heart, and always put others ahead of herself.  During her battle with cancer it was made evident how very strong of a person she was.  She was a loving daughter, caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  Gina’s children were her pride and joy.  She looked forward to, and whole heartedly had faith in, Jehovah’s promises at Revelation 21:3, 4 and John 5:28, 29.  These promises bring much comfort to her family who are longingly waiting to see her again.

Gina’s family would like to say a very special thank you to Hampton Regional Medical Center, the staff, and Gina’s friends there, for all the wonderful care, loving support and outstanding kindness that was shown to Gina and to us, her family.  We would also like to recognize some of Gina’s very close friends, Angie T. Jones, Misty B. Poston, Samantha S. McNeely and Donna G. Breland.  Each of your friendships with Gina was something she deeply valued.  The kindness and love shown to Gina by so many of her friends, is something that will not long be forgotten by her family.  Many of you reached out to her and supported her through her illness with your loving phone calls, visits, cards, flowers, and tokens of affection.  We wish we could individually recognize and personally thank each and every one of you.  You all know who you are, thank you.

The family will be at the residence of Mr. Charlie Winn, 304 Schley Street, Hampton.

Funeral services will be held at 3 o’clock, Tuesday afternoon, April 24, 2018 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Hampton Congregation.  Interment will follow in Sandy Run Cemetery.
