Mr. David Lowell Young, 54, entered into rest Tuesday morning, April 11, 2017, at his home in Walterboro.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Friday morning, April 14, 2017, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend Craig Crosby officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Hendersonville Highway, Walterboro.
A son of the late Kenneth Bright Young and the late Patsy Neal Young, he was born April 10, 1963, in Kinston, North Carolina, having made Walterboro his home for the past fifty years. He served his country in the South Carolina Army National Guard. He was a well-known carpenter and had attended Refuge Church. He loved his family dearly, centering his life around those he loved. He enjoyed fishing, possessed a special talent with drawing, and was also a motorcycle enthusiast.
Surviving are: his wife of thirty-one years and childhood sweetheart, Mrs. Dawn Beasley Young; two children, Kena Marley Young of Ruffin and Banyon Lowell Young of Walterboro; and a sister, Jennifer Lynn Young of Walterboro. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Mark Young.
