Mr. Charles Samuel Hatfield, III, known to everyone as “Butch”, 65, of Cottageville, entered into rest Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Colleton Medical Center.
Born March 7, 1951 in Walterboro, he was a son of Bobbie Wood Hatfield and the late Charles Samuel Hatfield, Jr. He served his country in the United States Army. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer and turkey hunting. For many years, he worked alongside his dear friend, Ray Miller, and the two where well known for their work.
Surviving are: his mother, Bobbie Hatfield of Walterboro; children, Aaron Hatfield and Ivey Hatfield, both of Columbia; and sisters, Barbara Dale Bynum and her husband Bill of Brevard, North Carolina and Judie Hatfield Salisbury and her husband Kevin of Walterboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to: FOCCAS, 33 Poor Farm Road, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.
