Mrs. Barbara Rhoden Reynolds, affectionately known as “Mema”, 77, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday morning, March 25, 2018 at Pruitt Healthcare in Walterboro. She was the wife of the late Rally Marshall Reynolds, Sr., to whom she was married for 58 years at the time of his death in 2016.
Funeral services will be held 11 o’clock, Tuesday morning, March 27, 2018 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow at 3 pm at Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery, Ellenton Road, Barnwell.
Born September 15, 1940 in Aiken, she was a daughter of the late Marvin Rhoden and Thelma Weeks Clegg. She was the owner and operator of Debi’s Florist in Walterboro for 15 years. She was best known for her famous red velvet cakes. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who always supported her granddaughters in any school or sporting event they had.
Surviving are: her children, Wanda Price and her husband Casey of Walterboro, and Rally Marshall Reynolds, Jr. and his wife Sami of Walterboro; three granddaughters, Debi Price, Meagan Reynolds, and Laura Reynolds; sister, Ernestene Brown and her husband Philip of Barnwell; brother, Terry Baxley and his wife Gloria of Barnwell; special friends, Burley and Joann Colson of Walterboro; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Reynolds; and a sister, Patsy Cassavaw.
The family would especially like to thank her caregiver, Barbara Taylor; the staff of Pruitt Healthcare in Walterboro; and Sharon McLaine and the WHFMS of Grace Advent Christian Church.
