Mrs. Amy Simpson Crosby, 60, of Walterboro, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Trident Medical Center. She was the widow of Mr. Thomas Frampton Crosby.
Funeral services will be held 3 pm, Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church, 3481 Sidneys Road, Walterboro. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 pm until the hour of service at the church.
Born November 24, 1955 in Orangeburg County, she was a daughter of the late Charles L. Simpson and Gertrude Dukes Simpson. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Known to everyone as “Momma Amy”, she will always be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends and especially her love of cooking for everyone.
Surviving are: her children, Lorie Stanley of Walterboro, Stephen Westbury of Walterboro, Phillip Crosby of Walterboro, Tonya Tager of Cope, Todd Crosby of Cope and Chad Crosby of Cope; grandchildren, Jessica Stanley, Hunter Stanley, Whitney Westbury, Cameron Westbury, Tyler Westbury, Bradley Westbury, Jace Westbury, Alana Crosby, Kendall Crosby, Nikki Adams, Savannah Tager, Hannah Maxey, Ansley Crosby, Jeffrey Crosby, TC Crosby, Allie Crosby, and Jacob Crosby; several great grandchildren; brother, Glenn Simpson of Rowesville; and sister, Louise Rickborn of St. George. She was preceded in death by brothers, Lee Stearns and Wayne Simpson.
