Glendale Memorial Cemetery was founded by the Herndon family in the fall of 1977as an answer to the growing need of those we served to provided a place of solitude and maintained grounds for burial. Our cemetery has since grown to include a 240 crypt Chapel Mausoleum  which was first constructed in 2000 reaching its completion and first entombment in 2001. 

As of today Glendale Memorial Cemetery is situated on a total of fifteen developed acres for burial consisting of six ground burial sections that allow for the use of flat granite and bronze markers and five ground burial sections that allow families the choice of upright memorial markers. With future expansion additional acres willbe developed and as the cemetery continues to take on burials other adjoining properties will be purchased.

The future seems to be apromising one for Glendale Memorial Cemetery, as plans are underway to include the expansion of two new wings onto the Chapel Mausoleum, a Veterans Park, and cremation garden; as well as several projects predicted for the future.  Our Veteran's Park experienced the first interment at the beginning stages in May of 2011. 

 The Glendale Memorial Chapel Mausoleum offers 240 crypts as well as 80 single urn niches for crematedremains.  There is a chapel for committal services along with offeringsof True Companion Crypts, Side by Side Crypts, and individual crypts.  As with keeping with the uniformed look provided by the simple elegance of the Mausoleum, with the purchase of a crypt the bronze plaque is included.  There are many advantages to Mausoleum Entombment and we invite you to call our main office or stop by and allow us to explain those benefits.

 As you drive the path along our cemetery we invite you to enjoy the peaceful place that our cemetery has allowed forthose families who have selected this place as a final resting place.  You will see the well landscaped grounds along with in season flowers that are planted during the summer, fall and spring seasons.
